About Us
Feed the Kids is a volunteer run ministry of Apex United Methodist Church. Our program started in 2013 with 11 students at a single school. This year, thanks to the generosity of the church, community, and corporate sponsors, we will serve over 200 students at 11 local schools. The schools we currently serve are:
- Apex Elementary
- Apex Middle
- Baucom Elementary
- Carpenter Elementary
- Green Hope Elementary
- Maureen Joy
- Moncure
- Olive Chapel Elementary
- Peak Beginnings
- Penny Rd. Elementary
- Salem Middle
Food is provided by food drives and cash donations are used to purchase items from the NC Food Bank and local stores.
